Item 5.02
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On September 25, 2019, MoneyGram International, Inc. (the "Company" or “MoneyGram”) announced that Francis Aaron Henry has notified the Company of his intention to step down from the position of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Company in order to accept a position as the general counsel of another public company in a different industry. Mr. Henry will remain with MoneyGram until October 18, 2019 to ensure an orderly transition in responsibilities.
On September 25, 2019, the Company also announced that Robert L. Villasenor, Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Securities and Assistant Secretary, has been named General Counsel and Secretary on an interim basis effective upon Mr. Henry’s departure.
